Hello everyone! I’m writing to you right now from my iPad in New York City in Times Square. Yes! I’m in the most important day of the year in the Big Apple and I just can’t express my happiness right now. It’s also Wednesday so I couldn’t miss the day I post on the blog. I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank everyone for a great year of blogging. This year was one with lots of changes in my life (from my career, to my beginnings as a writer, to a lot of personal events) and I simply couldn’t have asked for a better year. This year I learned that I’m surrounded by great friends all around the world. Thanks to my job I was able to travel to a lot of places this year and I was able to reconnect with a lot of them. I also feel really fortunate for having the family that I have (right now I’m on this great NYC trip with them and I couldn’t have asked for better company) and for being able to see them at least a few times every year. I also want to thank you my readers for such an amazing support through the journey that has been starting this blog. I really didn’t expect the success and positive reception this blog has had. It has also given me the chance to share what I love the most with you, and has given me a voice that wanted to be heard for so long. Thank you, my reader, and thanks to everyone that has been so supportive to me along the way.
So tonight, on this chilly evening in one of the biggest fashion capitals of the world (expect lots of pics when I get back!) I just want to be grateful for the wonderful year that was 2014 and I’m very excited for what 2015 might bring with it. I wish you the best on this super special night and I encourage you to go and pursuit your dream like I did, whatever it is, just go for it. Don’t mind anyone who tells you that you can’t do something, because the only one that can prevent you from realizing your dreams is yourself, and no one else. Find strength in those that love you and surround yourself with positive people. That will create a healthy environment where you can do anything.
