Hello my friends! I’m back from my trip to Mexico and I have to say that even though I had a blast during my recruiting trip, I really missed the Pacific Northwest this past week. We’re exactly four days away from the fall equinox, and almost like clockwork, it really started to feel like fall in Seattle lately. It’s time to take out the topcoats, switch our cardigans and sweaters for the t-shirts and tanktops, and bring back the rain jackets, and just prepare for the final months of the year. Go buy yourself a Pumpkin Spice Latte (I already did) and start enjoying the cooler, crisp mornings, the smell of wet soil, and the leaves changing colors. That, my friends, is what fall tastes and looks like, and I’m ready to embrace it over the next weeks.
Today I’m keeping the post really short because I was away all of last week, but I have very important announcements to make. My friend and fellow Seattle Gent Antonio Smith and I are hosting a Fall Style Event with J. Crew next week, where folks can shop for the newest fall collection and get styling tips from both him and myself using J. Crew pieces. The event will take place next Friday at the J. Crew store in Pacific Place in downtown Seattle. Come and join us for some mingling to refreshments, and J. Crew will offer a 20% off your $125+ purchases at the event. ¡Hola amigos míos! Me encuentro de regreso de mi viaje a la Ciudad de México y debo decir que aunque me la pasé increíble durante el viaje de reclutamiento ya empezaba a extrañar al Pacífico Noroeste esta última semana. Estamos exactamente a cuatro días de que sea el equinoccio de otoño, y así como las manecillas del reloj, realmente se ha empezado a sentir como otoño estos días en Seattle. Llegó la hora de sacar los abrigos, cambiar nuestros suéteres y cardigans por las camisetas y playeras, traer de vuelta los rompevientos y empezar a prepararnos para los últimos meses del año. Vayan y cómprense un Pumpkin Spice Latte (yo ya lo hice) y empiecen a disfrutar de las mañanas frescas, del olor a tierra mojada y de las hojas de los árboles cambiando de color. Eso, mis amigos, es como me sabe y se siente el otoño y en verdad estoy listo para apreciarlo y aceptarlo en estas próximas semanas.
El día de hoy quisiera mantener el post algo corto ya que estuve fuera casi toda la semana pasada, pero aún así tengo muy importantes anuncios que hacerles.
