Happy Wednesday guys! As I mentioned in the last post, I was planning to do two posts about my New York trip and here is the second part of that amazing family vacation. Last time, I showed you my outfit for visiting the MoMA, which is my favorite museum. Today I’m showing you my outfit at one of the most iconic landmarks in the Big Apple: the Brooklyn Bridge. I had already explained kind of the idea that I had for this photoshoot. Basically, I wanted to try out my new lens with a blurry city background. I must confess to this guys, I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out, but it actually came out pretty well, much better than I had even imagined.
Here you can see me wearing a complete, New York City ensemble with the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge in the background. I’m wearing a heavy winter coat, because as you can expect, it was reaaally cold, not to mention the super strong winds in the East River that just made it feel even colder. I’m also wearing corduroy pants, which are perfect for this time of year. They look hip, are extra warm and comfy, and in this case they blend really well with the background colors: light brown and tan. For the accessories I’m wearing a pair of Burberry sunnies, an infinity scarf which I got from H&M and my all-weather resistant Aldo boots. What’s your take on this? You like the photos and outfit? I once again want to thank my sister for taking these photos. I know the new lens was kind of a new beast for us but you managed to get these awesome pics which are probably my favorite to date on the blog.
So there goes another cool outfit and great photoshoot in the Big Apple. I just want to say that I had the best of times in New York and I’m pretty sure I’ll be walking on those streets again sooner than I expect. This week I’m looking forward to meet with my blog BFF Kim for the first time this year. I’m also super happy because I’ve booked my flight to Boston in February, and like in all my trips, you can expect lots of photos and outfits from that trip on the blog really soon (Kim and I are going together so it’s going to be super fabulous and there will be a TON of pictures!) As always, thanks for stopping by, your support has been higher than ever these first two weeks of the New Year. Keep it going guys! That just makes me want to write and share more with you. Remember to be stylish and to dress boldly, don’t be afraid to take some risks while at it.
